For the first time in 100 years, Pi Day will take place on a date that includes the numbers 3/14/15—the first five digits of Pi. Here at Encyclopizzeria, we believe pizza is the best way to celebrate this historic day of infinite numerical possibilities. That’s why we’ve compiled a list of Chicago Pi Day pizza specials.
On Pi Day from 11:00 AM to 10:15 PM, My Pie Pizza will offer a thin slice of pizza and a regular drink combo for $3.14.
All of Chicago’s Blaze Pizza locations will be celebrating Pi Day by offering ANY of their wood fire pizzas for $3.14. That’s only 89 cents more than a single ride on the CTA! This offer is not valid on online orders and limited to one pie per customer.
Tuscany Chicago’s Taylor Street, Oak Brook, and Wheeling locations will offer a dine-in only lunch special on Saturday from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The restaurant’s Margherita, Salamino Piccante, Salsicca, and Mixed Vegetable pizzas will be available for $3.14!
It’s no surprise that the Adler Planetarium is getting involved in Chicago’s Pi Day activities. The museum is teaming up with WBEZ Chicago for The Ultimate Pi Day party. Described as a celebration of “Pi and Pie,” the planetarium’s two-part event will take place throughout the day with a family-friendly party from 12:00 PM-4:00 PM and a 21+ event from 6:00 PM-10:00 PM. While the family-friendly event is free, entry to the 21+ event requires the purchase of a $25 ticket and includes music, a cash bar, a Nerdette panel discussion, sky shows, and museum access. Piece Brewery and Pizza will be on-site throughout both events to offer guests samples of their pizza pies.
